PREMISE

The show is about a boy genius named Dexter who has a secret laboratory filled with his amazing inventions. He has a dimwitted sister named Dee Dee who he's usually in conflict with and an arch nemesis named Mandrake.

The first two seasons also contained mini shows named "Dial M for Monkey" about Dexter's lab monkey-turned-superhero, and "Justice Friends" about three goofy superheroes who share an apartment.

The series ran from ninety-six to two thousand and three. It was a highly rated show and helped launch the careers of several cartoonists including Craig McCracken, Seth MacFarlane and Butch Hartman.
