HALLOWEEN CRYPTOGRAM SOLUTIONS
Halloween was originally a Celtic druid’s tradition. Their New Years’ day was November first. The celebration would begin on October thirty-first and the spirits of all the people who died during the year would rise up and roam the earth on that night.
November first is All Saints Day which is a day dedicated to all saints who don’t have a special day of their own. The mass the night before was called All Hallows Mass and the night became known as All Hallows E’en and then Halloween.
The colors orange and black have become closely associated with Halloween. Halloween marks the end of Harvest, and orange represents the color of the harvest. Black is associated with death and Halloween is the night spirits supposedly walk the earth.
