ORIGINAL PREMISE

The first concept for the show was about a TV station run by forest animals. The animal characters included Rocket J. Squirrel, Canadian Moose, Sylvester Fox, Blackstone Crow, Oski Bear and Floral Fauna.

PRODUCTION PROBLEMS

The animation of the series was outsourced to Mexica in order to save money. However, quality control was poor so sometimes mustaches would come and go from Boris, colors would change, or Bullwinkle's antlers would change.

ITS TV RUN

It first aired in nineteen fifty-nine and at least as of June twenty thirteen it was still showing in syndicated reruns making it the longest lasting made for TV cartoon series in syndication.
