BOBSLEIGH

The bobsleigh is either a two person or four person team race down an icy and twisty track. The two person team has a pilot and a breakman. The four person crew also has two pushers. Originally five and six person teams were allowed, but not since the ninteen thirties.

LUGE

The luge can be raced as a single person or two person team. The racers go down the ice track face up and feet first. The sled is steered with the riders calves on the runners. It was first added to the Winter Olympic games in nineteen sixty-four.

SKELETON

This is a winter sport with a single person riding a sled with no steering or brakes head first down a long twisting ice track. It was permanently added to the Winter Olympics in the two thousand and two games, but was competed in the games twice before.
